"Why." Spike has waited for the other, before he's taking his own sip of blood. It would probably surprise people who know him to see the bleach blond vampire actually calm. There's a stillness, but it's not a waiting stillness. It's a calm stillness, with a latent alertness where he could be ready for action in a second if needed. But he's not on edge.
